Front Room Productions

Front Room is a female-led theatre company existing to create site specific theatre in unconventional spaces, staging high-quality, intimate theatre in Leeds but where you least expect to find it, with previous productions in bedrooms, on farms, and in markets.  We respond to specific sites, underscoring intimate storytelling with live music, and creating theatre that transforms definitive aspects of our culture into experiences that can be enjoyed and understood by all.

Front Room Productions excel in working collaboratively, utilising every participant’s original ideas to contribute towards the final show.   We are also committed to promoting the role of women in the theatrical arena, and we seek to reflect this in the work we produce.  We believe it is important to create a greater place for women in theatre, both on stage and off.  We are immensely proud of our Northern roots, and endeavour to stage productions that showcase and celebrate the wealth of talented performers working across the region.
